STYLE: VINTAGE BOMBER JACKETS

I love a good bomber jacket. But what I love even more is one with custom embroidery. I picked this one up at Riverview Antique Market, one of my favorite vintage shops in Milwaukee.

It caught my eye for two reasons:

1) Wendy. Who wouldn’t want to play Wendy for a day?

2) “Home of the scary cherry” …I don’t know what that means and I’m not sure I want to know. But I’m into it!

Contrary to what my grandma thinks, this jacket can go with pretty much any outfit – over jeans and a t-shirt, with a tight black dress, or over the mini skirt look I tried today.

It’s such a statement piece that the pairing it with any outfit removes the color/pattern/fabric clash factor.

I could probably own a hundred of these (and I probably will at this point), so stay tuned for more looks like this. And three cheers to the “Scary Cherry”
